Four equal sized wheels improve tractive effort for excellent loader performance, while soft ground flotation and ground clearance are first class. Permanent 4-wheel steer and 4WD, together with a compact machine size, means an exceptionally tight turning circle for great manoeuvrability and handling in small yards.
Naturally, a tough design is common to all JCB telescopic handlers but Agri models take it to a new level. Extra guarding for the cab and lighting are standard, as is underbelly protection. There’s also an uprated 126 l/min variable flow piston hydraulic pump to cope with the rigours of waste and recycling duties.
The JCB 527-58 Agri telehandler uses a combination of individual hydraulic wheel motors and four-wheel steer for superb manoeuvrability.
It’s also got JCB’s EcoMAX engine for improved power and productivity. The 81 kW unit produces its power and torque at low revs, meaning that the engine has to work less hard than rival machines. That saves fuel and, of course, money.
Of course, good ground clearance and four wheel drive means this compact telehandler can make excellent progress in any conditions or terrain. Add a hydrostatic transmission for easy operation, infinite speed variations and great fuel efficiency, and you have truly versatile performance and productivity.
